Business Development Sales Representative
Join voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation as a Business Development Sales Representative, spearheading new market opportunities in a global manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Identify and create new market opportunities, establishing a network of contacts to acquire new customers.
- Coordinate with marketing and internal teams to align sales strategies with market trends and customer needs.
- Manage the entire sales project lifecycle, from lead qualification to client consultation and closing deals, ensuring timelines and targets are met.
- Liaise across departments (estimating, quality, production, engineering) to ensure clear client expectations.
- Analyze historic sales statistics to identify improvement areas and recommend strategies for growth.
- Prepare and manage sales project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and profitability.
- Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers, securing advantageous terms while maintaining quality and service standards.
- Nurture leads and track progress, aligning strategies with customer needs.
- Investigate market trends and develop strategic growth plans.
- Drive opportunities through prospecting, qualifying, presenting, proposing, and closing.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Communications, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum two years in B2B sales.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; comfort with public speaking to small groups.
- Collaborative, cross‑functional team player.
- Attention to detail and ability to communicate at a technical level.
- Proficiency in Office software (Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new systems such as Salesforce and ERP.
- Experience with product launch cycles and project management is preferred.
- Experience in metal manufacturing processes or industry is preferred.
- Ability to work onsite in Shelbyville, KY and travel 30‑40% domestically (possible 10% internationally).
- U.S. Person per ITAR/EAR regulations.
