Mobile Testing Technician

Mobile Testing Tech Needed in Shelbyville, IL

We are seeking a Mobile Testing Technician to operate a traveling Mobile Testing Lab for dielectric testing and inspections of high‑voltage personal protective equipment and Bucket Trucks.

• Inspect and clean mechanical hoists, ground sets, mechanical jumpers, rubber cover‑up and hot sticks.
• Build custom mechanical jumpers and ground sets.
• Perform annual and DOT inspections of Bucket Trucks.
• Follow all employer health/safety rules and operating procedures.

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Background in repairing hydraulic systems or tools.
• Preferred background in repairing mechanical, battery, electric and gas‑powered tools.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
• Clean MVR required and the ability to travel 70% of the time.
• Requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work different shifts (days/evenings) and some weekends.
• Two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
