About the Role

Holland Roofing is hiring Roofer Helpers to support our Commercial Roofing Production crews. This is a physically demanding, outdoor construction role working on active commercial job sites. Roofer Helpers work as part of a crew building commercial roofs from the ground up.

This position is best suited for individuals with construction or labor experience or those who are physically capable and prepared for full-day manual work in changing weather conditions.

Work Location & Travel Expectations

* This role does not report to a fixed location.

* Employees report directly to assigned job sites, which change as projects are completed.

* Reliable personal transportation is required to reach assigned job sites.

* Out-of-town travel is required at times:

* Company vehicle provided

* Hotel and meals provided by the company

* Weekend work and overtime may be required based on project needs.

Physical & Work Requirements (Read Carefully)

This is a labor-intensive construction position. Candidates must be able to:

* Lift and carry 30-50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day

* Work on rooftops at heights

* Climb ladders and access elevated work areas

* Perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, standing, and walking for long periods

* Work outdoors in heat, cold, wind, and other weather conditions

* Work 8-12 hour shifts, including early mornings

Job Responsibilities

* Carry materials and tools from ground level to the roof

* Assist with job site setup and cleanup

* Support installation of insulation and roofing materials

* Measure and cut materials as directed

* Follow all safety rules, including PPE and fall protection

* Assist foremen and leadmen with daily tasks

* Maintain a clean, safe job site

Qualifications

* Construction or labor experience preferred

* Reliable transportation required

* Ability to pass a drug test

* Authorized to work in the U.S.

* Willingness to travel and work weekends as needed

* Comfortable with physically demanding outdoor work
