Assistant Director of Nursing; ADON

Location: The Waters of Shelbyville, Shelbyville, TN
Type: Full-Time

The Waters of Shelbyville is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support nursing operations in our long-term care facility. The ADON assists the DON with clinical oversight, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance to ensure high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist DON with daily nursing operations and clinical oversight

• Supervise nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)

• Ensure compliance with state and federal LTC regulations

• Participate in survey readiness and quality improvement

• Support staffing, training, and documentation

• Participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings/weekends as assigned

Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license

• LTC experience preferred, leadership experience a plus

• Knowledge of LTC regulations and survey process
