This opportunity is with a respected, community-focused healthcare organization providing comprehensive women’s health services throughout Connecticut.

The organization is seeking an OB/GYN Physician for a Per Diem (Moonlighting) role to support its women’s health services in Shelton, Connecticut.

This position is ideal for physicians seeking flexible, as-needed clinical coverage. The role may include inpatient and/or outpatient OB/GYN responsibilities based on coverage needs, physician availability, and experience. Scheduling is coordinated collaboratively to align with mutual needs.

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in accordance with clinical standards
• Participate in inpatient and/or outpatient OB/GYN coverage as needed
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage obstetric and gynecologic conditions
• Perform routine gynecologic procedures and obstetric care within scope
• Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, midwives, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Adhere to evidence-based guidelines, quality standards, and patient safety protocols

• Education:
  
  MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Status:
  Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Licensure:
  Active Connecticut medical license or eligibility to obtain
• Experience:
  
  Prior OB/GYN clinical experience preferred; moonlighting/per diem experience a plus
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and team-oriented approach

• Competitive per diem compensation, commensurate with experience
