The facility is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Rheumatologist to join a well-established and collaborative medical team in Shelton, CT
.

Essential Position Responsibilities- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal disorders.
- Perform joint aspirations, injections, and other office-based rheumatologic procedures.
- Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Order and interpret laboratory and imaging studies relevant to rheumatologic conditions.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, including pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies.
- Educate patients and families on chronic disease management and lifestyle modification.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and quality improvement initiatives.
- Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Licensure & Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Rheumatology; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.
- Experience: Previous clinical experience preferred; fellowship-trained rheumatologists and new graduates are welcome to apply.
