Job Details Responsibilities- Build and test control systems (PLC, HMI, embedded controllers) that drive automation.
- Collaborate across engineering, IT, and operations to bring smart, connected machines to life.
- Support new product development, prototyping, and commissioning.
- Design electrical layouts using E-Plan and AutoCAD/Draft Sight.
- Troubleshoot and resolve real-time software and hardware challenges—both in-house and on-site.
- Create clear, comprehensive technical documentation and handover packages.
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in industrial automation or software engineering.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (ladder logic, structured text) with platforms like Beckhoff, Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.
- Hands‑on experience with HMI development and automation networks.
- Strong grasp of electrical systems, sensors, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with communication protocols (OPC/UA, MQTT, Ethernet/IP).
- A collaborative spirit, strong problem‑solving skills, and a drive to innovate.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%—domestic and international.
- Experience with robotics and ROS.
- Knowledge of C/C++, Python, or other high‑level languages.
- Familiarity with Agile development and commissioning processes.
- Proficiency in E-Plan and AutoCAD.
- Hands‑on work with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Moderate noise levels and occasional exposure to electrical components.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
