Certified Public Accountant

Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented CPA to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in tax accounting and corporate accounting, with a strong understanding of financial concepts. This role involves overseeing tax compliance, managing tax planning strategies, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. The CPA will also be responsible for guiding clients through insights into financial report interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for high net worth individuals.
• Develop and implement tax strategies that align with corporate goals.
• Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP standards.
• Analyze financial data for accuracy and compliance; perform account reconciliation as needed.
• Mentor junior staff members in technical accounting practices and financial analysis.
• Handle multi-state tax filings.
• Prepare K-1, K-2, and K-3 form
• Provide tax advisory services to clients

Requirements

• CPA certification required.
• Proven experience in tax accounting required
• Familiarity with auditing processes, regulatory reporting, and financial statement preparation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial reports.
• Knowledge of securities law, asset management, private equity, and financial services is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
