Phlebotomist

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomy – Phlebotomist I to support our client’s medical facility-based Shelton, CT 06484
. This is a 7-months assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Pay rate: $20/hr - $21/hr

Duration: 3 months contract with possible extension

Shift: Eastern - Hours vary from 7:30am-5:30pm (8-hour shifts) w/ rotational weekend

The Phlebotomy - Phlebotomist I serves as the face of the company, interacting directly with patients for routine health visits and critical health decisions. This role involves:

• Drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for laboratory testing.
• Ensuring safety, accuracy, and professionalism in every patient interaction.
• Creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence by clearly explaining procedures.
• Following established procedures, confidentiality policies, and process excellence standards.
• Working at doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations based on business needs.

• 6 months of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections).
• 2+ years in a Patient Service Center environment (Preferred).
• Customer service experience in a retail or service setting (Preferred).
• Keyboarding/data entry experience (Preferred).
