Our client, a leader in biotechnology, is hiring a Technical Content Designer to join their team in Shleton, CT!
As the Technical Content Designer
, you will design and develop intuitive technical content for web-based, customer-facing help which enables customers to effectively use our portfolio of laboratory instrument systems.
$50.00/hr - $60.00/hr
Responsibilities:- Apply processes for modular, single-sourced content creation, leveraging Mad Cap Flare authoring environment.
- Design content based on user learning principles
, ensuring information is easily accessible, intuitive, and highly effective for the target audience. - Create new, high-quality technical content which targets multiple user personas
, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and completeness. - Ensure the help product adheres to established brand guidelines, style guides, and internal standards
.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Technical Communication or a science/engineering related discipline.
- 7-10 years experience in a relevant area.
- Demonstrated proficiency in HTML and XML authoring.
- Experience with Jira
. - Familiarity with embedding multimedia into web-based help content
. - Experience implementing meta tags and structured content focused on providing key information to an AI chatbot
.
