The Marketing Services Coordinator is an essential member of the Advisor Marketing team, supporting both foundational marketing operations and the execution of Barnum’s advisor-facing marketing programs. This role blends coordinator responsibilities with elevated ownership of program delivery, internal client support, and marketing execution.
You will work directly with Barnum’s financial advisors, ensuring a smooth and professional experience as they engage with our marketing services, including general marketing support, personalized materials, newsletter programs, content programs, firm initiatives, and subscription-based offerings.

Key Responsibilities Marketing Program & Project Coordination- Support the execution of Barnum’s advisor marketing programs including newsletters, webinars, events, email, and social campaign initiatives.
- Coordinate timelines, gather required inputs, and ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Assist in onboarding advisors into firm-led programs and subscription services.
- Maintain organized project status, notes, and communication workflows within our ticketing request system.
- Serve as a point of contact for advisors participating in marketing programs or requesting basic marketing assistance as internal clients of the firm.
- Provide guidance on foundational marketing best practices and digital presence.
- Support the Marketing Services Specialist by handling routine advisor requests and coordinating deliverables.
- Update advisor marketing materials including bios, email templates, website content, and basic social or communication assets.
- Assist with distribution of advisor communications and program content.
- Support operational execution related to advisor onboarding, webpage updates, profile maintenance, and standard marketing support.
- Help improve processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and advisor satisfaction.
- Support firm-wide events, educational webinars, and special marketing initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, project coordination, or client service
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-service mindset and comfort interacting with internal clients
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools (email, social media, websites)
- Ability to create and edit marketing materials using design tools like Canva or similar template-based platforms with the ability to learn new programs.
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign and Illustrator) for template editing and basic design manipulation. Strong creative skills are a plus, but not required.
- Experience in financial services, agency work, or support/coordination roles
- Familiarity with CRM or email platforms (Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
- Exposure to content creation, copywriting, or creative workflow management
- Interest in marketing strategy and advisor growth
