Job Overview

The Regional Sales Manager plans, organizes, develops and implements Hubbell Commercial Construction platform electrical distribution strategies, directs regional sales teams to achieve sales and profit objectives, and ensures overall company sales initiatives are met. Responsibilities include managing manufacturing rep agency sales teams, selling Raco, Taymac, Bell, Acme, and Wiegmann solutions to end users, distributors, and contractors, and working with Engineers and Consultants to further specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve regional sales quota across Hubbell brands and market segments.
  • Manage, meet and report regional sales, travel, and entertainment budgets.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise regional sales team.
  • Plan and complete all sales and marketing plans with distributor partners and end users.
  • Maintain all available channels of distribution.
  • Organize end‑user calls to achieve objectives.
  • Make regional sales staff changes, conduct performance evaluations, and take corrective actions.
  • Monitor regional competitive threats, economic and pricing trends, and report findings to RVP.
  • Establish high‑level contacts with customers and buying influences; sell “UP” opportunities and build relationships.
  • Meet new product development targets in the region.
  • Coordinate cross‑selling, drive conversions, and support HES harmonization efforts.
  • Work with pricing, quotation, and marketing teams for competitive stock levels, SPAs, and market intelligence.
  • Report forecast, market trends, distributor and end‑user activities, and projects.
  • Maintain and achieve SF funnel project opportunity targets and conversions.
Qualifications
  • Preferred:
    Four‑year college degree.
  • Preferred: 5 years of industry experience in the electrical industry.
  • Preferred:
    Sales experience working with MReps.
  • Ability to travel 30‑50%.
  • Must reside within the Southwest Region.

TX, OK, LA, MS, CO, NM, WY, NE, IA, KS, MO, IL, SD.
