HVAC Project Engineer (Energy Force)

We partner with businesses such as restaurant chains, assisted‑living facilities, retail franchises, and more, installing, monitoring and managing patented technologies and proprietary energy software to deliver complete, energy‑saving solutions.

Location:

On‑site in Shelton, CT, Hybrid or Remote.

• Site Estimation and Planning:
  • Assist with detailed site assessments to estimate HVAC equipment requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop installation plans and timelines.
  • Evaluate site conditions.
• Project Scoping:
  • Develop a detailed installation plan, including replacement units, gas piping, electrical and ductwork modifications.
  • Produce complete project cost estimates by coordinating internal and external quotes.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure all installations meet industry standards and company quality guidelines.
  • Conduct quarterly inspections to monitor conditions and anticipate issues.
• Travel Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to regional job sites.
• Work within the Work Order Management system to ensure orders reach Energy Force technicians.
• Review installation surveys to confirm required scope completion.
• Provide excellent, timely customer service via phone, email and chat.
• Ensure utmost customer satisfaction throughout the order systems.
• Continuously improve customer satisfaction during the installation process.

• Minimum of 5 years commercial HVAC installation and management experience.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, installation techniques, and regulations.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead a team and manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record.
• Experience with project management software.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and HVAC industry protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Independent and collaborative team player.
• Passion for energy savings and continuous learning.
• Positive relationship building with customers.

$80,000–$100,000 USD per year. Compensation is based on experience, skill set, qualifications and location.
