Job ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate should possess an undergraduate degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in computer software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and AutoCAD.
Key Responsibilities Include- Providing engineering support for designing and manufacturing fixtures, machines, and tools, ensuring ergonomic and safety standards.
- Examining plans and specifications for new machinery and equipment to ascertain if all safety precautions have been included.
- Assisting in preparing Failure Mode Affects Analysis Reports and facilitating compliance with all OSHA regulations relating to the plant.
- Assisting in ergonomics programs and plant health and safety initiatives to prevent unsafe working conditions.
- Conducting plant surveys to assess exposure to hazards such as noise, dust, fumes, and radiation.
- Ensuring compliance with Quality, Environmental, and Material Management systems, including ISO 14001 standards.
- Promoting a safety‑conscious attitude, reporting unsafe conditions or incidents, and adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies per company and legal standards.
The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
