Sr. Manager, Facilities and Maintenance

Shift: 2nd 3:30pm to 12am

Pay Rate: $30

Responsibilities
  • Serves as an example to other employees by consistently demonstrating exemplary work habits, which contribute to teamwork, productivity, and efficiency; maintains own functional knowledge and skills to assist staff with daily workload as needed.
  • Troubleshoot PLC controlled Conveyor and Put wall technologies.
  • Read and understand electrical schematics.
  • Assist in the identification of design enhancements that can be made to improve equipment reliability while working with vendors and engineering to implement these changes.
  • Install electrical and electronic parts and hardware in machines, using soldering equipment and hand tools.
  • Assist in installation of new machinery and equipment.
  • Report broken/inoperable/unsafe equipment to Maintenance Manager and take immediate corrective action if warranted.
  • Maintain ongoing necessary/required training, certifications, and education.
  • Institute the direction and goals of the Maintenance Manager to maintain the safety, efficiency, and productivity of equipment and plant operations.
  • Assist Managers in after-hours maintenance calls.
  • Maintain work area in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager.
  • Serves as first line responder to all MHE / Equipment and PLC issues. Any issues that are unable to be resolved will be brought to the DC Maintenance Manager for a collaborative session of problem resolution.
  • Ensures proper levels of replacement equipment is within the 4 walls of the DC to avoid any potential downtime.
  • Contributes to a positive work environment in a manner that is consistent with KEEN expectations; with the bottom-line expectation of providing outstanding service to our partners and fans.
  • Shows respect for the KEEN brand, including teammates within the operation.
  • Conducts self with reliable and punctual attendance.
Physical/Mental Requirements
  • The ability to work in a standing, sitting, or walking environment for 8-10 hour shifts.
  • The ability to comprehend and train associates in all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
  • Use arms/wrists/hands/grasp.
  • Lift/carry/push/pull.
Qualifications
  • Two-year technical degree or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Maintenance Mechanic.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in Welding, PLC and conveyor Preventative Maintenance.
  • Experience wiring 480V and 208V motors; and programming settings.
  • Proficiency with electrical and mechanical system troubleshooting with a strong understanding of AC and DC voltages and mechanical power transmission systems.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines on short notice.
  • Effective written/oral communication skills and inter-personal skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to work multiple shifts and overtime as required (including some weekends).
  • May be required to work overtime.
  • Must be able to read and take direction in English.
