• Days:
  Standard £16.20 ph | Peak Rate £20ph
• Overtime Rate £24.00ph (after 8 hours daily)

Estimated weekly pay based on 40 hours: £800 per week.

Expected annual earnings: £41,600.

• Adhere to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
• Secure the load of the trailer to minimise chances of damage.
• Collect refuse and waste in residential areas.
• Work as part of a team of three (1 driver, 2 loaders) for residential waste collection and tipping.
• Carry out multi‑drop collections.
• Report vehicle defects to the transport office as necessary.
• Show excellent customer‑facing awareness skills.
• Be a good timekeeper and work unsupervised.
• Maintain an enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first‑class customer service.
• Possess good communication skills and a flexible can‑do attitude.

• Planned average 8‑10 hour shift
• Monday‑Friday shifts starting 06:15, with optional overtime on Saturday
• Consistent regular ongoing work and job security, possibility of Temp to Perm

• Digi Tacho and CPC cards
• Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements
• Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Driver’s Hours)
• Good national geographical awareness
• Excellent customer‑facing awareness skills
• Good timekeeper and ability to work unsupervised
• Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first‑class customer service
• Good communication skills and a flexible can‑do attitude
• Newly qualified HGV Class 2 drivers considered who can reverse confidently on a blind side
