Job Description & How to Apply Below

Sherborne Schools Group is seeking a Marketing Officer to support all aspects of marketing and communications at Sherborne Boys School, while also playing an active role in initiatives across the wider Group. Based primarily at Sherborne Boys School and reporting to the Group Head of Marketing, this is a varied and engaging position that offers involvement in the full breadth of marketing activity.

The role will include supporting the design and delivery of both print and digital materials, contributing to website, social media and email content, coordinating the production of publications and communications, and assisting with the promotion of events and admissions activity.

Working closely with colleagues across the Sherborne Schools Group, the postholder will help to ensure a consistent approach to branding and communications, while contributing to collaborative projects such as campaigns, photo and film shoots, and group publications. The role also includes supporting admissions-related marketing, from preparing materials for events and exhibitions to assisting with campaign reporting and analysis. Alongside this, there is an expectation to liaise with a range of internal teams, manage communications professionally, and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of marketing activity.

The successful candidate will become part of a supportive and collaborative environment, with the opportunity to contribute to both the individual school and the wider Group. Flexibility is important, as the role may occasionally require working across different sites or adjusting hours to meet the needs of the role. This is an opportunity to take on a broad and hands‑on position within a busy and well‑connected team, and to play a part in supporting the ongoing work and development of the Sherborne Schools Group.

30 hours per week all year round (full‑time at 37.5 hours per week may be available for the right candidate).

Closing at 9.30am – Wednesday 29 July 2026 and interviews due to take place on Thursday 6 August 2026
