School Nurse; Bank

Sherborne Schools Group is seeking a compassionate, adaptable and professional Registered Nurse to join our Health Centre team on a casual basis. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care and health support to pupils, staff and visitors in a welcoming and supportive environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse who enjoys working with young people and is looking for a flexible role within a thriving educational community.

As part of a dedicated and experienced team, you will contribute to the physical and emotional wellbeing of our pupils, providing clinical care, health advice and support while helping to create a safe and nurturing environment. You will need excellent communication skills, sound clinical judgement and the ability to remain calm under pressure. The role offers a varied workload, from managing day-to-day healthcare needs and supporting pupils with both physical and emotional health concerns, to working collaboratively with parents, teaching staff and external healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for those in our care.

This position would suit a nurse who is confident working independently, enjoys building positive relationships with young people and takes a proactive approach to promoting health and wellbeing. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a meaningful difference, whether through providing immediate clinical support, offering reassurance and guidance, or contributing to the wider pastoral care of the School community.

In return, you will become part of a warm, supportive and highly regarded educational environment where pupil welfare is at the heart of everything we do.
