Assistant Manager Tax Audit

Tax audit expertise meets EY’s national Tax Operate team for an Assistant Manager supporting compliance, accounting, and advisory engagements. Apply technical knowledge while working with Managers and Senior Managers.

As an Assistant Manager, you will support high-quality corporate tax compliance and audit engagements in a changing regulatory environment. The position develops your technical expertise through income tax computations, deferred tax calculations, tax returns, and tax research. You will also supervise junior staff and contribute to quality client service.

• Support tax audits using EY global methodology, processes, and tools
• Prepare income tax computations, deferred tax calculations, and returns
• Draft technical memoranda, reports, and client deliverables
• Review junior staff work and provide on-the-job coaching
• Research tax issues and support technical conclusions

• HDip Tax, MCom Tax, or BCom Honours
• Approximately four years’ corporate tax experience
• Experience in compliance, tax accounting, or audit
• Ability to interpret tax legislation technically
• Strong analytical, organisational, and supervisory skills
