Responsibilities
This job is to help with the care of 4 children: a 5 year old, and twin 3 year oldsSupervision of children when parents are not at homeOrganize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exerciseDiscipline children according to the methods requested by the parentsBathe children as neededGeneral housework that will include doing laundry and some ironingDusting rooms to ensure a clean environmentQualifications
Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school educationMust have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiverMust be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervisionExperience with young babies is an assetEmployment details
Terms of employment:
This job is for a full-time position (between 32 and 40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job starts as soon as possible.
Language requirement:
French or English.
Salary:
Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the provincial minimum wage rate changes.
Location:
CaBe… lives in the city of Sherbrooke, in Quebec. The home is situated in the Eastern Townships. Public transportation is available.
