What you’ll do here

If you’re passionate about helping others and are known for your excellent communication and people skills, you may be a good fit. As a Sales & Customer Service agent, you’ll become a trusted advisor in helping Canadians protect the things they care about. You’ll receive mentorship and training as you pursue your career goals, and your success will be recognized with our annual bonus plan and an accelerated career path with potential promotion after six months in the role.

What you’ll do includes:

  • Play a key role in ensuring the best possible protection of customers  assets by advising them to make informed choices and answering product questions and next steps.
  • Analyze customer needs, promote products and services, and propose innovative solutions.
  • Guide auto and home customers on insurance solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and support of new initiatives.
Training and Schedule

Training schedule:
First 2 months (March 2 – May
4), 21 hours/week with:

  • Tuesday: 3pm to 8pm
  • Thursday: 4pm to 8pm
  • Friday: 4pm to 8pm
  • Saturday: 8am to 5pm

Following 2 months (May 4 – July
4), schedule will be 35 hours/week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Regular schedule: starting July 4, full-time schedule with 32 hours/week including weeks and evening shifts; students may work a minimum of 21 hours/week including Saturdays, holidays and evenings, with adjustments to accommodate school schedules; after training, in-office requirement is 1 day in the office.

Start date:

March 2, 2026. You will be based in our Sherbrooke office (2665 King Street) with a hybrid work model.

What you bring to the table
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • A real team player who can collaborate on projects but is also comfortable working independently
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to listen with empathy
  • French language required – you will answer calls for a French-speaking clientele
  • Customer-driven with advisory skills and willingness to develop further
  • Ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to juggle multiple applications
  • Willingness to complete the provincial exam to obtain your insurance license
  • No Canadian work experience required, but you must be eligible to work in Canada
  • This is an inbound call centre position; candidates should be comfortable with evenings, Saturdays, and occasional statutory holidays. A day-shift schedule may be offered after the first year
Certifications and regulatory notes

In Quebec, agents must pass AMF certification. To be considered for the training course, you must meet one of the following: a College Diploma/Bachelor/Master’s degree; an Attestation of Collegial Studies in Damage Insurance; or a Secondary Diploma with 3 years of full-time Canadian work experience. If diplomas are from outside Canada, an equivalence may be required. Supporting documents will be requested.
