Serve East Angus customers with Canada Post through counter service, postal sales, and bilingual communication during temporary on call assignments.
As a Post Office Assistant, you will provide customer-focused service at the counter. The position supports Canada Post retail operations in East Angus, Quebec. Responsibilities include selling postal products, processing mail, and addressing delivery difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:- Sell postal products and services to businesses and the public
- Sort, distribute, and process mail into appropriate classifications
- Provide customers with information and required forms
- Resolve delivery and service difficulties thoroughly and quickly
- High school or provincial equivalency
- Business administration experience may be considered
- Retail or service experience involving public interaction
- Sales and cash transaction experience
- Bilingual communication and temporary on call flexibility
