Role Overview
McGill University’s School of Continuing Studies is seeking enthusiastic and responsible Monitors to support international adult learners participating in off‑site activities connected to YCSB 215:
Global Aviation Leadership & Strategy. These activities include aviation‑related site visits, experiential workshops, and cultural outings across Montreal. Hourly rate: $18 (up to 25 hours total). Hiring dates:
June 22, 2026 to June 26, 2026.
- Accompany groups to aviation‑related site visits, workshops, laboratories, classrooms, and cultural activities.
- Ensure adherence to protocols, including punctuality, safety guidelines, and respectful conduct.
- Facilitate small‑group discussions following selected activities.
- Support collaborative work such as group projects and presentations.
- Encourage engagement with course themes and daily learning.
- Assist with logistics including transitions between activities.
- Serve as an approachable point of contact for participants during excursions and program events.
- Current student or recent graduate (McGill University preferred).
- Fluent in English.
- Previous experience as a monitor or group leader (preferable).
- Comfortable engaging with adult learners from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Interest or background in aviation, leadership is an asset.
High School Diploma, 2 Years Related Experience.
Compensation & HoursHourly Salary: $18.00
