Position: E-VIBE Part-Time E-Mediator Needed
Join To Wards Peace as a part-time E-Mediator in the E-VIBE program focused on preventing youth violence online. Utilize your social media expertise to foster community safety.

This role within the Children & Youth Services department is essential in combatting online violence among youth. As an E-Mediator, you will leverage social media to identify risky behaviors and trends that may lead to real-life violence. Duties include facilitating workshops and monitoring online interactions to prevent harm, alongside creating insightful reports regarding emerging patterns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in mandatory E-VIBE training sessions

• Monitor and de-escalate online disputes

• Identify and report online intimidation or bullying

• Track alliances and hostilities between community groups

• Facilitate community workshops on violence prevention

Requirements:

• Comprehensive knowledge of major social media

• Experienced with youth facing community violence

• Strong conflict resolution skills

• Deep understanding of youth developmental strategies

• Knowledgeable about services for at-risk youth

Support youth in the GTA by addressing online violence and making meaningful interventions with To Wards Peace.
