Position: Teacher Assistant with Personal Care Focus
Inspire and support students at St Mary's Education Centre in Ac as a Teacher Assistant. This position involves personal care and behavioral support to promote independence and learning.

St Mary's Education Centre invites applications for the Teacher Assistant role to assist students with special needs. You will work closely with educational teams to implement individual plans and support emotional and physical growth.

Your role will create a welcoming and safe environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer personal care and assist with daily needs

• Implement behavior management strategies and encourage growth

• Aid students in educational and community learning placements

• Provide timely feedback on student progress to educators

• Supervise students to ensure safety and appropriate interaction

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or relevant certification

• Teacher Assistant training through accredited programs

• Experience managing youth with exceptional needs strongly preferred

• Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to acquire

• Strong communication skills and capability to assist with personal care
