Psychoeducator

Position: Psychoeducator Needed
Make an impact as a Psychoeducator at Adult Education New Horizons in Sherbrooke, Quebec. This position involves working with students to improve their adaptive skills and social interactions.

As a Psychoeducator, you'll engage in assessment, support, and intervention planning for students with social maladjustments.

Your role includes gathering information from diverse sources, designing relevant activities, and creating individualized education plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and educators. This temporary position, lasting under six weeks, offers a chance to contribute to student well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver tailored psycho educational services

• Screen and identify students needing support

• Design individualized education plans collaboratively

• Work alongside teachers to implement effective strategies

• Provide resources for parents and school personnel

Requirements:

• Membership in the Ordre des psychoéducateurs et psychoéducatrices

• Previous work in educational environments

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to analyze and synthesize student data

• Experience in developing educational materials
