Position: Home-Care Vocational Integration Educator
Enhance the care environment as a Home-Care Vocational Integration Teacher at New Horizons Adult Education Center, Sherbrooke, QC. A role focused on empowering staff through targeted training and coaching.

The SVI Teacher is dedicated to improving the capabilities of home-care residence staff via individualized coaching and interactive sessions. This role involves setting realistic vocational goals, fostering teamwork, and building professional relationships among employees. You will be a fundamental part of creating a compassionate care culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer SVI curriculum training to residence staff

• Supervise daily employee tasks for effective integration

• Lead individual/group discussions to support learning

• Coach staff actively during their operational shifts

• Provide reports on employee development and progress

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education with a valid Teaching Certificate

• Minimum 5 years in teaching or vocational training

• Bilingual in English and French for effective communication

• Strong understanding of career development resources

• Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and discretion
