Position: SVI Teacher at New Horizons
Transform lives as an SVI Teacher at New Horizons Adult Education Center in Richmond, QC. You'll deliver essential training and foster interpersonal skills in staff for compassionate care.

This role focuses on empowering home-care staff through tailored training at the Eastern Township Sector. Your experience in teaching and coaching will provide the tools staff need to excel in delivering high-quality, person-centered care. You'll engage in both individual coaching and group sessions to cultivate emotional intelligence and collaborative relationships among caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver training using the SVI curriculum guidelines

• Supervise staff to support daily task performance

• Facilitate individual and group learning sessions

• Operate on-site in the home-care residence

• Collaborate with care workers during shifts for coaching

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education with a valid Teaching Certificate

• 5+ years in teaching, coaching, or mentoring roles

• Bilingual in English and French

• Knowledge of career development tools

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
