Position: Special Education Teaching Role Galt High
Contribute to student achievement at Alexander Galt High School as a Special Education Teacher. Focus on special education programs from January through June 2027.

This replacement contract involves teaching Cycle 1 and 2 special education, ensuring that diverse learning needs are met effectively. Candidates should have a valid Quebec teaching authorization or be enrolled in a related educational program. This role is pivotal in guiding students towards success and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create engaging lesson plans tailored to student needs

• Teach home economics for Cycle 2 students effectively

• Modify learning materials for various learning styles

• Coordinate with school personnel on student progress

• Evaluate student performance and adjust teaching methods

Requirements:

• Hold valid teaching certification or currently pursuing it

• Enrolled in a Bachelor or Master of Teaching

• Relevant bachelor's degree and experience with children
