Adjunct Faculty Position in Biological Sciences

SUNY Cortland seeks qualified adjunct faculty to deliver educational instruction across various biological sciences subjects. Candidates with a Master’s degree or relevant experience are encouraged to apply, particularly those who can teach courses such as Cell Biology and Human Anatomy. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct 3 credit hour courses with compensation of $5500

• Report directly to the academic department chair

• Collaborate with other faculty and laboratory coordinators

• Teach subjects ranging from Ecology to Microbiology

• Mentor students through hands-on laboratory experiences

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience required

• Knowledge in biological subjects like Genetics

• Terminal degree is preferred

• Active contributions to diversity in education
