Lean Manufacturing Engineer

Position: Lean Manufacturing Engineer Role
Join our team as a Manufacturing Engineer dedicated to applying Lean principles to enhance efficiency and productivity in the automotive manufacturing sector. Utilize your engineering background to create safer solutions.
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with 3-5 years in high-volume manufacturing, ideally automotive. You'll be responsible for executing feasibility studies, optimizing process flows, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Your role will involve proactive quality management and the use of problem-solving methodologies to achieve continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute process flow solutions using Pareto and time studies

• Develop machine specifications and source safe equipment

• Conduct Layered Process Audits and Standard Work Audits

• Define Part Trial Run (PTR) requirements with teams

• Collaborate on engineering changes and process enhancements
Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering

• Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and process mapping

• Practical CAD software experience

• Knowledge of GD&T and automation technologies
