As an Automation Specialist, you will participate in the programming and improvement of electrical systems, ensuring operational safety and efficiency. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will lead projects from requirements gathering through to production. Your experience in manufacturing and strong organizational skills will underpin your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in designing and modifying electrical systems
• Implement automation solutions based on operational needs
• Coordinate project stages for successful launch
• Support compliance with health and safety standards
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues
Requirements:
• Electrical engineering diploma and 5 years experience
• Proficient in Allen-Bradley and AutoCAD Electrical
• Familiarity with Canadian Electrical Codes and safety standards
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once
