Affiliated Mental Health Counselor Position

As an independent provider with TELUS Health, your role focuses on delivering mental health assistance to employees and their families. You will manage your own schedule to optimize client engagement and will need extensive clinical experience to respond effectively to diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct counseling sessions both face-to-face and virtually

• Create a self-designed schedule matching client availability

• Utilize solution-oriented methods for client goals

• Address crisis situations with skill and professionalism

• Offer referrals to local community resources

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in counseling or related field

• Five years clinical experience since graduation

• Registered member of a Quebec professional order

• Demonstrated experience with varied demographics

• Strong crisis management expertise
