Job Description At CIMA+, the System Administrator – Git Hub Platform & Dev Sec Ops plays a key role in the reliability, security, and efficiency of software development environments. You will be responsible for administering the corporate Git Hub platform and implementing Dev Sec Ops practices, working closely with development, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams. Your work will have a direct impact on the quality, security, and delivery speed of the company’s technology solutions.
Primary Responsibilities Administer and maintain the Git Hub platform (organizations, repositories, access, policies)
Define and evolve Dev Sec Ops standards (CI/CD, integrated security, automation)
Integrate security controls into pipelines (SAST, DAST, secrets, dependencies)
Collaborate with development teams to improve practices and tools
Ensure compliance with security requirements and IT policies
Support teams during incidents or issues related to pipelines and Git Hub
Document processes, standards, and best practices
Qualifications IT professional passionate about automation, security, and modern development practices
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Bilingualism (French and English) required to support activities across Canada
Structured approach, quality-oriented, with a focus on continuous improvement
Integrity, team spirit, and commitment to excellence
Technical Skills Git Hub (Enterprise Cloud or Server)
Git, branch management, and deployment strategies
CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, Git Lab CI, or equivalent)
Dev Sec Ops tools (code scanning, dependency security, secrets management)
Scripting (Power Shell, Bash, Python—depending on context)
Experience and Education 5+ years in system administration, Dev Ops, or Dev Sec Ops
Hands‑on experience working with software development teams
College diploma or equivalent training
Assets Experience in corporate or multi-team environments
Knowledge of security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, OWASP)
Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
University degree in computer science or a related field
Technology Environment Application security tools
