Preload Supervisor

Job Summary

This position trains and supervises Package Handlers and Clerks on safety, productivity, and various job-related tasks. This position holds teams accountable for attendance and submits timecards.

Part-Time / Permanent

Monday to Friday (must be able to work ALL 5 days of the week).

Minimum of 30 hrs per week.

• Monday to Friday 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM

6 hours a day (requires flexibility with Start and Finish time).

29.42 CAD per hour.

• Develop and maintain good working relationships with employees, management and customers.
• Facilitate training with new and current employees.
• Conduct and participate in group meetings.
• Coordinate evaluations with management.
• Determine best solutions for package concerns.
• Supervise daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure all assigned duties are accomplished safely and timely.
• Understand and consistently demonstrate UPS’s high ethical standards and code of conduct.

• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Bilingualism required:
  French and English (written and spoken). Strong verbal and written communication skills in French are essential. The role involves regular interactions with clients outside of Quebec (20%).
• Candidate must have reliable transportation.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to multitask.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent
  - Preferred.
• Management experience
  - Preferred.
