Position: Strategic Buyer Needed at Owens Corning
Location: Windsor

Join Owens Corning as a Strategic Buyer, specializing in raw material procurement and supply chain management. You'll ensure efficient inventory and supplier liaison while working on price optimization.

Reporting to the Logistics and Supply lead, the Strategic Buyer will focus on managing supplier relationships in North America and Internationally. With a background of 5 to 7 years in manufacturing purchasing, you will generate critical inventory reports using SAP and Power BI.

Your role is essential in securing timely deliveries, negotiating contracts, and supervising procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and analyze inventory management reports

• Build strong relationships with local and international suppliers

• Supervise and enhance the purchasing team's performance

• Ensure accurate order status and delivery dates

• Participate in annual inventory and problem-solving sessions

Requirements:

• 5 to 7 years of purchasing management experience

• Knowledge in residential construction products

• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office

• Bilingual in French and English; knowledge of Spanish a plus

• Strong communication and organizational abilities
