Nursing Assistant

Position: Nursing Assistant at COGIR Real Estate
Support the well-being of seniors as a Nursing Assistant at COGIR Real Estate in the South Shore region. This full-time role focuses on medication management and resident care on weekdays with weekends off.

COPE with a team that’s dedicated to providing high-quality care in Longueuil, Chambly, Saint-Hubert, and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include administering medication, creating resident notes, and adjusting care plans based on observations. You’ll also respond to emergencies and promote proactive care for better health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications according to ethical standards

• Maintain accurate notes in the residents' files

• Adjust action plans based on observations

• Advocate for proactive resident care

• Manage emergency situations effectively

Requirements:

• DEC or DEP in nursing or health care assistance

• Strong computer skills

• Familiarity with retirement homes is advantageous

• Must be an OIIAQ member

• CPR certification must be current
