The role requires executing quality tasks such as microbiological testing and equipment maintenance. As a Laboratory Technician, you will perform crucial analyses on dairy products and processing equipment. You'll also conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and document all findings in a lab management system.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform microbiological testing on dairy products
• Conduct chemical and physical analyses using lab equipment
• Collect samples throughout production stages
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments
• Document test results and prepare detailed reports
Requirements:
• Minimum of GED or High School Diploma
• Associates degree in dairy/food sciences preferred
• 1-2 years in a food industry lab setting preferred
• Familiarity with FDA and USDA documentation
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
