Senior Scientist in Advanced Polyurethane Innovation

Pursue innovation at FXI as a Senior Scientist focused on advanced polyurethane materials. This on-site position in Aston, PA, is ideal for polymer experts ready to influence product development.

As part of FXI’s R&D team, you will be responsible for leading the development of tailored polyurethane foam solutions for both technical and medical uses. Candidates should have a strong background in polymer science and substantial experience in hands-on formulation development. Collaborate with various departments to drive strategic projects from concept through commercialization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct development of polyurethane foam for specialized applications

• Advance polymer chemistry to differentiate product performance

• Work with business unit leaders on chemistry needs

• Create performance-testing methods for unique applications

• Manage formulation transitions from lab to production

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry or equivalent experience

• At least 5 years in formulation development

• Knowledge of medical-grade materials preferred

• Proficient in developing test methods for performance

• Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration
