Consumer Goods Sales Account Manager

Drive consumer goods sales at Smithfield Foods through customer relationships, product placement, and fact-based selling across retail channels.

As a Sales Account Manager, you will introduce products, execute business initiatives, and grow sales with key customers. You will communicate pricing, availability, and order details while collaborating with Business Management and Plant Operations. The position supports bacon, ham, fresh pork, and other product categories.

• Achieve budgeted consumer goods sales with key customers
• Develop sales volume consistent with account projections
• Maintain existing accounts for continued growth
• Communicate product availability, logistics, specifications, and pricing
• Resolve customer complaints and problems promptly

• Bachelor's degree and two or more relevant years
• Knowledge of food industry or retail channel dynamics
• Experience with customer-focused, fact-based selling
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
