Software Test Specialist

• Ensure software quality from the design and development phases by creating and executing manual and automated tests
• Review feature acceptance criteria with developers
• Write test plans to validate acceptance criteria
• Test public and private service APIs
• Maintain a test environment within a continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) context
• Identify functionality issues that could impact production
• Provide detailed reports on executed tests and identified issues
• Recommend and implement new tools and practices to improve quality assurance efficiency
• Collaborate with other testers and actively participate in the development process

• Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in manual and/or automated software testing
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities

• Scripting and programming languages for test automation (Power Shell, Bash, C#, etc.)
• Web technologies (HTML, HTTP, React, Type Script, etc.)

• Azure cloud platform (Microsoft SQL Server and Azure Dev Ops)
• CI/CD deployment of ASP.NET services using Docker and Kubernetes

Demonstrates expertise in manual and automated software testing, with a strong focus on quality assurance practices and the ability to effectively communicate in both French and English. Proficient in utilizing CI/CD methodologies and various testing tools to ensure software reliability and performance.
