Transportation Bus Driver Position

Join our Transportation Department as a Bus Driver in Sherbrooke. This role focuses on driving students safely while maintaining vehicle standards and cleanliness throughout the day.

This regular role offers approximately 29.60 hours weekly, managing morning and afternoon shifts on route # R-37. You will transport students from Lennoxville Elementary School to Alexander Galt Regional High School. It's essential to perform routine inspections while keeping the bus clean and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the bus safely on assigned routes

• Ensure the vehicle is clean and running efficiently

• Carry out regular inspections as per legal requirements

• Keep accurate logbooks and inspection reports

• Load and unload goods or materials when required

Requirements:

• Hold a valid Class 1 or Class 2 driver's license

• Knowledge of operating large vehicles

• Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics

• Familiarity with preventative maintenance practices
