Bus Driver Schools

We are seeking a reliable Bus Driver for Sherbrooke Schools to manage Route R-70. Your mission is to ensure safe transport of students while maintaining vehicle readiness.

This position within the Transportation department involves driving a school bus, performing essential inspections, and keeping accurate logs of your daily activities. You will ensure the bus adheres to all safety regulations, remains clean, and is adequately fueled for efficient operation. Reporting any defects promptly is also part of your duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a school bus for student transit on Route R-70

• Ensure the vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good condition

• Perform necessary inspections and report defects

• Keep a logbook of trips and maintenance activities

• Load and unload materials when required

Requirements:

• Driver’s license class appropriate for bus operation

• Ability to operate large school buses safely

• Understanding of heavy vehicle mechanics

• Experience with preventative maintenance

• Strong commitment to safety practices
