Drive Class 1 vehicles from Sherbrooke while transporting metals and completing required pre-trip inspections safely. This permanent full-time day shift runs Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
AIM Recycling, a division of AMERICAN IRON & METAL (AIM), seeks a Class 1 Truck Driver for its Sherbrooke location. The position involves transporting metals between customer locations and AIM facilities, assisting with trailers, and operating different heavy vehicles. Safety compliance remains essential throughout every assignment.
Key Responsibilities:- Transport metals from customers to AIM facilities and between sites
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections before driving
- Assist with loading and unloading trailers
- Follow legal and employer safety standards at all times
- Operate different types of heavy vehicles as required
- Valid Class 1 driver's licence with FM endorsement
- Good driving record
- At least one year of Class 1 truck driving experience
- Strong commitment to occupational health and safety
- Good physical condition, reliability, and punctuality
