Job summary

The Software Quality Assurance Specialist will join our customer's team developing an operator assistance and traceability system deployed on its vehicle assembly lines. He/she will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of the solution, working closely with the development team and operations.

The position requires 1 to 3 days a week at our customer's site in Valcourt.

Main responsibilities
  • Define and execute end-to-end tests on the user interface, backend and integration with equipment;
  • Define and execute stress and edge case tests;
  • Manage the test lab (data, configurations, environments);
  • Approve production releases;
  • Reproduce and document bugs observed in production, liaising with the development team;
  • Collaborate in hybrid mode, with a presence of 1 to 3 days a week in Valcourt
    .
Technical requirements
  • College diploma (DEC) in computer science, electronics, computer systems or equivalent relevant experience;
  • Experience with Azure Dev Ops and Azure Test Plans
    ;
  • Basic programming skills;
  • Basic knowledge of automation (an asset);
  • Methodical, structured and meticulous approach;
Skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good work organization and time management
  • Strong teamwork skills
