Location

This position will be working at the Federal Correctional Facility in Sheridan, OR.

Pay

Pay: $27.79.

  • Sick Leave/PTO: 56 hours per year.
  • Vacation: Two (2) weeks paid vacation after one (1) year of service with a contractor or successor, three (3) weeks after five (5) years, and four (4) weeks after 15 years.
Schedule

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens from patients.
  • Prepare and label specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Follow proper protocols and safety measures during specimen collection.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results.
  • Assist with other laboratory procedures as needed.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a phlebotomy training program.
  • Certification as a phlebotomist preferred.
  • Knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and protocols accurately.
