RN - General

• Current RN License
• Current BLS through AHA
• 3 years experience

Sheridan VAMC, 1898 Fort Road, Sheridan, WY 82801

This is a 24/7 facility. Day & Night shifts available.

• Patient Assessment:
  Conduct comprehensive nursing evaluations, monitor vital signs, and track changes in patient conditions using critical thinking
• Medication & Treatment:
  Administer prescribed medications, therapies, and clinical treatments while monitoring patient responses under VA guidelines
• Work inside interdisciplinary Patient Aligned Care Teams (PACTs) alongside doctors, specialists, and social workers to design individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed health records utilizing VA electronic health record (EHR) systems.

  Educate veterans and their families on chronic disease management, self-care strategies, and prescribed treatment paths

4 Inpatient and 2 Outpatient RN's needed.
