The Bartender is integral to the guest experience and provides beverage services (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to the guests of the property. The Bartender will service beverages at the facility and provide a high-quality, service-oriented environment.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements:

• 1-2 years of bartending experience
• Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law
• Working knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor, and common drink recipes
• Strong customer/guest orientation
• Organized and able to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a professional appearance at all times
• Maintain supplies of all bar products, including glassware, expendable paper, and other supplies
• Ensure sanitation and cleanliness of the bar area, glassware, and equipment
• Follow all laws applicable to beverage operations
• Collect payment for drinks served
• Greet guests and provide immediate attention
• Learn and recognize regular guests
• Monitor guest experience and take appropriate actions to ensure excellent customer service
• Inspect the bar before opening to ensure adequate supplies and inventory
• Prepare garnishes, mixes, and pre-mixed drinks
• Perform clean-up and closing duties as assigned
• Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies, including verifying legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests
• Support all company policies and programs as communicated by management
• Perform other duties as assigned
