Transportation Specialist

About the PositionAs a Transportation Specialist, you will keep our community connected by managing the transportation customer database, verifying and entering data, preparing route schedules, and responding to customer calls.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Answer telephone and direct calls for the Goose Creek Transit Facility.
- Communicate with drivers via two-way radio.
- Provide information and referrals to customers.
- Enter and update data in transit software, schedule routes for the day, and complete route logs.
- Report health and safety concerns and adhere to confidentiality policies.
- Assist staff as needed and complete orientation and ongoing training.
