Polysomnographic Technician

Essential Functions:

• Works under the supervision of the Director of Sleep Services and the Medical Director (MD, DO, or PhD).
• Provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders (polysomnography diagnostic and therapeutic services, scoring, patient care and education).
• Performs the duties defined for a Polysomnographic Technician by the BRPT and may provide supervision of other staff as needed.
• Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes.
• Performs other job duties as needed and/or as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Current license by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technicians
• Requires basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Requires organizational, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written means.

License and

Certifications:

• Requires current license by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technicians.
• BLS certification is required upon hire.
